Default TRF 416, front ball differential? Should I replace the one way for carpet racing?

Anyone running a front diff? If so how did you buy it?

I am running foams on a very small tight carpet track and am thinking I can be faster with a ball diff.

Opinions otherwise?

It is the same as the rear diff, so you need another rear diff and just flip it.

is there a part# for the rear diff? All I see is the parts individually..... that seems really expensive!

There's not a fully made diff you can buy that I know of, as you say, it's all individual parts.

With foams indoors, typically a diff on both ends, with a centre fixed drive is favoured.

I have a centre one way, with duel diff's on my trf415msxx, but only because the track is small and I run stock 27t, so I don't need any braking, just lots of corner speed, it is just a preference though.

Others may get on better with the reassurance of better brakes...
