Default IPHONE GEAR CHART APP - HELP NEEDED

My friend is writing a gear ratio/rollout program application for the iphone. He has all of the programming tools and certificate to submit the item to Apple's App store. The app will be available soon for either free or some small amount. Some in my local area have seen the prototype at the track yesterday in Nor Cal. He has around 30 car's internal ratios loading into the program. Now we are asking the public's help in the development of the program. Please find the below list of cars for which we have ratios. Please check this for accuracy. Also, please either post or email me cars and internal ratios to [email protected]. Your advice/expertise will be used to make this a kick ass program/tool. If you have a iphone, there will be no need to bring a laptop or a bunch of sheets of paper to the track. Here are the cars we currently have:

The Schumacher CatSX

can be 2.2, 2.4, or 2.6 FDR

Dont know how you would want to add that, but 2.4 (stock ratio) at least would be cool I havent really seen many people using different ratios.

I will be looking for it in the app store. If the deny it, send it to be featured in cydia

Tell us how you want the Schumacher ratio differentiated in the title. We can put something next to the car title to note this.

Have you seen www.igearchart.com ?(use on your iphone)

Might have some good info for you, and might help with the app design.

It would be very nice to have a native app for sure.

It would be nice to have a non-cloud app, as the web is not accessible at all tracks. Please make sure that it is ipod touch friendly, too...

The Xray ratios have been given to the programmer. The Tamiya ratios were not. i need someone to confirm this please. I don't want to submit it if someone just "thinks" if could be the ratio. Please chime in.

Also, the initial version has been submitted to Apple for the App store. There is no telling how long it will take for approval. Hopefully soon. Future updates will include any corrections/new ratios we receive. Keep the info coming please.

Do yourselves a favor and dump the apple crap and get a decent PDA. Then you can use a conventional excel sheet from your computer or an on-line calculator.

can you get your friend to add in Cross Weight to multiple decimal places - the current cross weight app is obtuse for RC usage - you have to multiply by 100 - which isnt that difficult, but a pain regardless.
