Where is the thread about the pulses blowing up lrp speedos? I just got a pulse 13.5. Do not know if it is a new batch or and old batch and I can't afford to buy a new speedo right now.

Not 100% sure, but that may have been in the original Pulse thread which was removed...

Wow, cool....
I sent mine in Jan 6...nothing. Got two minutes out of it...

It is never worth the wait when you paid for it months ago!!!

Trinity this is bad PR... your image is becoming tarnished....

When you're not up front with paying customers, they go elsewhere

So I'm wondering how many of these returned motors will be lost in the move to FLorida??

Mines been there for over 4 months now, and still no return. AND no response to e-mails since Feb.

Default Trinity Pulse - No Response

Regarding the Pulse motors, I have tried many e-mails and phone calls to multiple contact points in Trinity and have not received any respones regarding my 10.5 Pulse motor that was defective out of the box. I sent the motor back to Trinity in good faith during the first week of January, and have had no responses or communication of any type for the past 3.5 months.

I am not sure how many of these motors had issues, but I find it difficult to believe that Trinity would be willing to do so much damage to their reputation over such small dollar figures (e.g. if it is 5000 motors that cost them $10.00 apiece this equals $50,000 total in losses). I'm not privy to the exact figures, but the numbers still seem trivial in the overall picture of the corporation.

I would hope that someone at Trinity has the ability/desire/ethical drive to communicate or post some information on their own forum, here, or somewhere else regarding the status of the returned Pulse motors, as well as Trinity's proposed solutions. As most business owners are aware, the absolute worst thing you can do is ignore or dismiss a situation. If there are no updates, communications, or statuses, this leaves the end-consumer with very little options other than contacting the State Attorney General over $70.00 toy car motors.

Wow what a frustrating experience for those people with bad motors. Hopefully Team Epic (or whatever Trinity changed their name to) takes care of everything soon.

Just throwing this out there but I wonder if this is an area ROAR could help its membership in. Goes a bit beyond racing but perhaps the membership could have companies "in good standing" or not based on feedback from the membership. Part of the process for future approvals would need to be that a company was "in good standing" with the membership. Would give some encouragement to companies to focus on customer service a bit more. Just a thought. Not quite sure how (or if) something like that would work.

I want to know why the orginal thread was removed. If you are trying to get info on something would it make sence to leave the info for people to see. If people are bad mouthing something there has to be a reason it is bad. Ether the motor was bad or other factor caused the motor to fail. I do not like it when info was removed from this thread beacuse it will just start all over again and people will get screwed out of time and money. I have a pulse 13.5 and am worried that it will distrory my lrp speedo. What is the point of this hobby if we can't get the info we need. That is why we go to theys forums to get information.

Just wondering if anyone who has sent their Pulse in has heard anything recently on developments or any other news? I haven't called or tried to contact Trinity for a while.

I have included the question in about every correspondence with Trinity over the last month or so, and they are responsive, seem to place all our orders, and respond to everything except the question about our (3) 13.5 pulse that have been there for 5 months now??????????????????????
