Does anyone know how to tell the version 3 ones apart from the others??

sorry dude...get your facts straight first...
obviously your statement is incorrect....people haven't been taken care at your track or elsewhere..

Trinity has screwed quite a few drivers at the LHS level..
zero returns...zero product support...

obviously sent your motors in way later than everyone else....

Should of mail them in sooner I guess.
Now you have to wait like everyone for Trinity to settle in after their move...

I'm not sure what their strategy is for re-emerging as a new company with the rep for ripping off the consumer.... Changing your name doesn't erase the memory of getting f'd over and lied to..... On a very grand scale.

I've been involved with RC Racing since 1984, this is probably the most widespread soaking I have seen in this rc industry. This is a small community of us RC hardcores. Sorry guy, but they're not going to make this good. That's why businesses shed their skin, to relieve themselves of bad debt and get a ride out of the hole. The old take the money and run routine.

You're basing your 'biased' opinion on your LHS, or the racers you know. The great thing about a forum is that we can see on a more widespread scale how this is playing out in reality across the country. While there may have been some that sent off and received back motors from Trinity as promised, we also have people stating the opposite, and these racers feel screwed by Trinity and feel it important to share.

Getting on here and being dismissive to those that have not been taken care of by Trinity as you have, is not being racer friendly to the hobby community in general. Companies do and will make mistakes, but what they afterwards is what can make a company successful or a failure.

There is a old thought when it comes to customer service. A customer that had a good experience will tell 0-1 people, while a customer that had a bad experience will tell 2-4 people.

We'll see what happens after their move. Conjecture, at this point, is a waste of time.

If I had to complain, It would be that they didn't recall the motors and pull them off of shelves. If they did, it didn't happen fast enough as I got one from Stormer just a few weeks ago.

I should have gone with the Redline - too bad I didn't find this thread BEFORE my purchase.

the pulse that burnt up on me was a ver 3 the first time I used it. It has been 5 weeks amd no has respond the my email or replaced my motor.

I bought two of the first batch of 13.5's TRCR had, this was on a Friday Night, Saturday I gave one to Donnie, and one to JayBee, Sunday on the first run they both quit. They were sent in right away, probably close to the first ones that were returned. Mark from timezone said his were sent in 7 months ago, these were sent in before that.

Obviously, your wrong as usual

Maybe you would like to try and explain why my brand new trinty pit bag that i bought on friday had the plastic snap break and the Handle on the side rip out on the very first day I used it.
