Hey...

Does anybody else with the Cellmaster Legend Charger have a problem with Cell (A) reading high in the display and cell (B) reading low?

I've tried several different batteries, and checked the actual voltages with a DVM and the balancer in the charger just always reads wrong...

I'm VERY disappointed in this 250 dollar charger at this point.... VERY upset.

I'd honestly return it and buy another Hyperion if I hadn't special ordered this thing to begin with....

Please let me know if anybody else is having this problem....

-David

Yea I got the same beef also.

Im not bothered at the moment as the other charger is working no problem. But if Much More dont sort it then I'll be pisst.

Much more gear is the tits seems to be a dumb problem as it stops the battery charging properly.

How have you other guys with the same fault got on getting it sorted.

Cheers

Gareth.

!!Update!!

Check your charge leads. The supplied one has a high resistance joint. I at the same time as buying the chargers bought some other charge/balance leads swapped them over.

All good.

I'll get onto Much More tomorrow and get a replacement.

Cheers

Gareth.

Default Charging issue

Hey guys.

I have a small problem that could be a major, not sure as yet. When I start a charge on a 2s lipo, the balancer reads out both the cell voltages but after about 5 minutes the voltage for the second cell goes to 0.00v. Tried 3 different balance leads and 3 different batteries and the same thing happens. Any advice anybody?

Humm well one of mine jacked it in totally today. Gets to a charge rate of 1.2amp and turns itself off!

I think this one is a duffer.

I guess I'm sending mine into Muchmore USA tomorrow for warranty service...

Hopefully they will be able to fix it or give me a new one that actually works.

Hello,

sorry for my English, but it is not my mother tongue.

I have two new cell master legends with the power legend supply.

Yesterday i tried to discharge a 2s lipo with the standard 2S balancer cable.
Firmware: 1.23b

After some seconds the balancing chart shows also a low voltage in the cell C,D,E and F. (~2,5V) so it switched to 6s automatic.
Then i tried it again and 5min everything works fine, then it siwtches again to 6s and then back to 2s.

With the second cell master i have not this problem.

What could be the problem?

Greetings from Vienna / Austria
Martin

Yep...

I've already sent this one in for service... If it comes back in working order, I'll go ahead and buy the second one to match it for my powermaster Legend...

I've also ordered another Hyperion Duo 3+... I should have never strayed from the Hyperion.

I also ordered one of the new Hitec 4 Channel chargers for my 10th scale packs. The 50W per channel wouldn't be enough for my 8th scale stuff... But for 2S... Should be great!

that hitec charger is gonna take up ALOT of space on your pit table. It looks small in the pics. But, it is HUGE.

Cant decide between the Legend and the LRP touch, they both pretty much do the same thing. Anyone have any experiences of both?

LRP Touch, no issues at all.

I know a few folks that have already sold the "Legend"

i bought a touch after my legend literally went up in smoke completely happy with it, only main diff in charging is muchmore = 15 A, LRP = 12A, discharge muchmore = 10A, LRP 20A. LRP has got MORE features and battery profiles which are important to me...

still don't know if i'd go for store credit or a replacement unit... mine was v1.16 and lasted me around 3 months before it went. Is version 2 out already?
