What are the trinity black springs rated at or compared to other spring tensions?

Trinity "blacks" are rated by Trinity as softer than green springs.(one step down from greens)

Actually I was under the impression Blacks were inbetween green and reds in terms of tension.

blacks are indeed stiffer than greens and softer than reds. the blacks lose tension faster than the greens though. i just bend the greens so they have the same tension as the blacks.

I thought black was the same as red, with an extra coil for standup hoods
