Thanks! I actually got the inspiration from the guys here. I'm working on another idea for a cooling rack for my batteries and discharger.

by the looks of it, i think its pretty hard to find a place that sells that kind of backlit lcd! i think your better off with LEDs on the side.

Like disaster said, I don't think you will find a backlit version of that screen, the LED's would be the go.

im not sure if it would work or not, theres a couple way of doing it, having the head of the LED (the round part) pointing at the side of the LCD screen have like..2 on each side, try it out and see if you could see it, if not, i think you could have 2 white LEDs sticking out and point them stright down at the screen....thats just my ideas, not sure if it would work or look good.....

hey, just got an backlit LCD for my charger and having some problems with it! the LCD specs are 5V to power the LCD and 4.2V for the backlit. but i checked the voltage on the charger and the leads and they are a bit too high! not sure what resister to use...my friend told me to get those dails where you could change the current by just turning them...

im trying to put a backlit LCD into my GM commander!
thanks...hope you guys could help me!

Tie in some resisters to drop the voltage from 12 to 5? That should help.
