Yes I did all the work myself. Luckily I had help at the machine shop at work too. It was very easy to do, just takes common sense. The blue cathode tube runs on 12 volts DC. Just make sure you order the correct one. I got the tube from www.PCmods.com its a mini 4" cathode tube.

That's a nice window in the charger, pity my cdc is a tad smaller and I can't really put a window in it to do something similar.

This is the face plate I did for my Turbo35. Surely you'll recognize the girl on it It's not the best looking custom faceplate but it looks better than the original one.

Is there anyway i can change this display to backlit?
Should I just get some LEDs and wire it around the display? or would that give very little lighting if at all on the screen?

i went to the dollor store and bought a tub, took a dremel to it, and so far here is the result

cut an opening for the fan
Also, the input will be done by the screw that hold the fan
I have to clean the cut out
