I have been trying to get good pics of chassis protectors applied on a chassis for some time. Since its transparent it makes it difficult but here is chassis protector applied on a Serpent S400 6-cell chassis:

I'm definately gonna pick a few of these up come asphalt season.

Is the adhesion pretty perminate, or do you have to ability to peel it off after it is worn?

What touring chassis are you running? Losi Type R?

Once the film cures it will remain stuck to the chassis. It can be removed with some effort but leaves no residue. If has cured well it sometimes comes off in sections, like removing old window tint but with more effort.

Just got a chance to install one of these protectors on my T1FK'05 today.

Fits great, and I'm sure it will give great protection. It's some heavy-duty film, but might even be smoother than the original CF chassis. Either way, this film will be staying put for outdoor and indoor action.

I'm not sure yet when I will have the 5 cell one available. I still need to order a chassis.

After seeing them pics I have just ordered one of these for my Type R!

Can't imagine there being much demand for them in the UK. Looking forward to getting it fitted.

Mine arrived yesterday (great postage from the US) and I started the install straight away. Just waiting for it to heal now and then it's the arduous task of removing all the precut bits!

very happy with the one on my cyclone.
I tried the Jconcepts ones before but they were not as good. they were much thicker like .5-1 mm but didnt hold up very well plus since they were thicker I couldnt lower my ride height as much without rubbing in the corners.
But all those problems are gone now! Just cant wait for asphalt season so i
thrash on it and see how well it holds up.

Postage is really quick or really slow, never know what to expect. The cut-outs come out quicker than you think once film is cured.

Most likely to prevent the protector from shifting.
