Personally I think the Tekin RS is the best ESC around.

All I run is Tekin. Other companies keep releasing new ESCs to improve on their previous model.
The Tekin RS and RS Pro has an upgradeable open architecture which allows for simple firmware updates thru the Tekin HotWire PC interface.
So instead of having to buy a new ESC every 9 months, you can simply go to Tekin's website to look for any updates then load into your RS or RS Pro.

I have run their FX for brushed motors and that thing is tiny, so this year I have installed a RS pro and will run it for the first time tomorrow. If it is as good as the FX it will be Great!

Those are the sensorless line of brushless products, not very many racers are running sensorless and it will not work with most other brand motors, as most are sensored.

The R1 series is very good, and they will run sensored motors even though it doesnt have the sensor connections. The only known problems with running a sensored motor on the R1 is with Novak 17.5's, and 13.5's, but with so many other motors I,m sure there is a combo that will work if you need a 13.5. Alot of motors (Trinity, LRP, Orion, Speed passion) just to name a few have motors that you can remove the senored wire and run them. Many people run tekin R1's in offroad, and even the R1 Pro in 1/8 buggy and truggies.

The Tekin RS or RS PRO is a very competitive ESC.

Tekin 100%. They are not only super tuneable, but very easy to setup, very easy to solder, and you can get a Hotwire adapter to fine tune your ESC further from your laptop or PC!!!

I hope other ESC companies follow this route, as it is the way wave of the future IMO.

But right now, Tekin 100% of the way.
