But take also the hotwire with it. Than you can update the speedo with the 189 software and than you now why it's the best speedo there is at moment.
I agree with you on this!!! I'm waiting for my Hotwire to come in. But just the stock profile is awsome, I have em in both of my cars.

As you have the Hotwire and you put the 189 software on it.
Than you feel the true power of the Tekin.

Set your motor timing to zero and your Boost up to max. Randy and team Tekin are praising this setup. I am going to play with this setup next time I go play at my track. If I see my car disappear in a fire streak, like our favorite DeLorean, I am gonna swear by Tekin products forever.

Default Real quick

Real quick. Go Tekin.

Bought an Orion 10,5 from a fast guy. After 2 weeks in my car using the RS Pro with the stock settings basically. He wanted to buy the motor back when he saw how much punch it had in the infield. said it was always a dog for him. We used the same gearing but my setup was faster than his. He outdrives me mostly but I came as close beating him as he has ever seen. How's that for an endorsement?

"When this sucker hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious $#!t"

When you do try this setup. Do pay careful attention to gearing. Gotta drop teeth off of the motor pinion. Then watch it really fly!!!!

Will this set up works as well in mod motor?

That's a good question. I will say no namely because of how finicky mod motors get with timing changes, from what I have heard.

7.5 Redline motor + RS speedo = Land rocket

I put the combo in my new truck just for something to grow into. And all I can say is boy do I have room to grow. The power is smooth and predictable. I really need an RS combo in my other cars. I ran the default profile as I was in too big of a hurry and was going to race it immediately, and even that was great.

Testimonial:

BUY ONE, you will end up wanting another for all your cars.

I would be inclined to agree with this too, for the reason that you typically already are using a smaller pinion for the punch a mod puts out.

Anything smaller on the pinion and you are likely to end up with an on off switch when it comes to laying down the power, which is a not so good way of trying to use it

The guys are right, in mod I run dual mode period.

Mod motors don't need more timing in general and already have the rpms to pull long straights.

For a 4.5 in Tc for example I was running D2 Dual mode and 40-50 on timing.

For Offroad Mod I'm running 50-60 with a 6.5/5.5 in 4wd again in D2 Dual mode.
