We offer 5 different color rings to customize and the heatsinks also fit these new motors.

There is no performance compromise with the new motor design when compared to the old one!

If anything, being as that the new motor's endbell assembly is all aluminum, it should dissipate heat better than the plastic/aluminum mix of our previous generation's motors.

Your competitor just fell on its face with their new motor release (PULSE) and left people longing for something new. The time to release the 13.5 is NOW! It's admirable what you're doing the the oval crowd's spec racing, but screw admiration. I need new motors today, and I want this one. Don't make me spend more money on that Trinity crap while you guys play pat-a-cake with oval!

Will stators, sensor assemblies and other parts be available separately? It sounds like all the pieces will be interchangeable.

Sooo... how different is it from the original SS line (i'm talking internally... the frills are great on the outside and all but its what's on the inside that matters), and how much more will it cost than the ss line?

I don't know, they seem like dressed up SS's, but then again, maybe i say that like its a bad thing.

All of these service items will be available separately. At the bottom of the Ballistic page is a list of all the items available for the motors. Many of our existing Velociti/SS Pro motor accessories are compatible with the new Ballistic Series.

LOL - but did you know a 21.5 on a 2s LIPO will go 55 MPH!!

It just takes a while to get there, but once it's there...it will stay there for a LONG TIME.

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

So the 13mm tuning rotor is the same part number, but the standard 12.3mm rotor is a new part number? What's different about this new rotor? Will the old 12.3's be compatible? Will the new rotor fit in the old motors?

I sure hope to see a 13.5 replacement stator in April!

The Ballistic rotor is the same as the Velociti/SS Pro rotor and, therefore, interchangeable. We will release an entire line of Ballistic Spec Racing motors, but haven't yet determined the release date.

We offer @20 motors using the same basic platform with different winds, rotors, end bells, colored rings, timing rings, etc. It would be unmanageable to release all versions at the same time.

Ah, okay. I was confused by this, which appears to be a new part number.

NovakTwo, When are we going to see a new replacement for the GTB. It would seem the XBR morphed into the Havoc, and now Havok 3s, and GTB into slyder. Dont get me wrong the GTB is a great BL ESC, but I'd love to see it smaller, lighter, handle more voltage 3s, and more adjustments like motor timing, how about a PC interface.

Fantastic! I'll put a new BL ESC purchase on hold for a while then.
