HOw good is that new Orion/Peak V2 motor? I JUSt started to run MOd (one race) and am using older motors. I could use a new mod motor for Touring. If these motors cantruly go 3 or 4 runs without rebuild-that would be KILLER!!

I had to cut my Reedy Ti 10S and 9T after every run w/ new brushes last weekend. Too much work...

You start to look ath e Lineup that Peak/Orion is putting together. They have some of the best racers in the world now running for them and the early info is that they may now have one of the best Mods made. I agree Rayhuang that the cutting the hot mod motors every run stinks. I am getting the new Peak/Orion mods as soon as my hobby shop can get them in. I race RC cars to race them...not the cut comms...lol

And I ran them at 12* and 15* timing-so I can only imagine if I cranked them up to 30* and geared-em-up!!!

Spashett will be at the NORCAR at the Gate pre-champs warm-up-so I guess I'll get to see the V2 run soon enough!!

That is the Josh Cyrul 1/12th scale. Hope to see some pics of it from Cleveland or maybe sooner.

CEFX is the name Josh's company. He already makes bodies and is working on the car.

Josh told me that he would be running a different car than the one he ran in Cleveland for the first race of the Triple Crown. You can see the Trinity car he ran under the race report.

We will have to bug Shane since he will be in Cleveland covering the event to make sure he gets pictures.

Man Josh and David running together with the same car. Look for the new car Cyrul is working on to be killer. With those two working together it will be a great car.

This is great news for David - truly one of the nicest guys I ever met. He never got was the entire support he needed in England. Now with Oscar close by to work with him - watch out. David did an incredible job of promoting Trinity in England (the best he could) - if he gets inspired about racing again - watch out.

wyd- sounds like we know a lot of the same people and hear the same stories.

All the best to David-- a pint of Guiness to all!!

Trinity burns alot of bridges. Ryan Hand now runs a pretty good Sprint car team. They also run some World of Outlaw races. He and Rob have done so much better since they left Trinity. Hell Kirby has done alot better also. He is big time into paint balling now.

It is really too bad as these bad experiances took some really good people out of a great hobby. Too bad as these are the type of guys we want promoting our hobby to get more people involved.
