Default MMS or CTX-M

I can't decide which one of these I should get!

Which one do you guys prefer?

They both look good!

Hi Asimo,

I had the possibility to test both.

CTX has more options such as pulse breaking, and the system to read RPM is very smart as you just put the motor on the side and it's over.
MMS is a little more compact and its main features are motor conditioning and reading RPM via an optical cord.
the optical cord is a liitle bit fragile so pay attention to it.

To sum-up, it depends on what you are looking for, if you need a powerful motor conditioner with more features than the MMS, go with the CTX.
if you need a simple motor tool that can read amps and RPM, choose the MMS.

Ralf: Considering the CTX has more functions over the MMS at the same cost! I guess the CTX would be the pick?

I just got a Kose comm lathe, do people use these Motor gadgets to power the lathes?

I think Schumacher carries these and Speedworld in Roseville Ca has them in stock. It's a really cool unit. I use mine to tune motors, break in motors, and power my lathe.
