No issues running a 4.5 on a rs with 1cell. Have been running no problem all season in 12th.... It is nice that you can keep rollout low. Add the turbo and have the straight speed and be able to run out hard. Only a 4 or 5 on turbo. 4 or 5 on boost and motor on zero. Adjust the gearing to match the track. Very drivable and all the doped you need to run at the edge on high bite. If you are getting the speedo hot you are over geared or way over timing te motor.......

That's 75mm/rev - are you sure that's for 10.5? Looks more like a 13.5 ratio to me - can you confirm? Thanks.

It's confirmed
In 13.5 I was at a 50 pinion.
It sounds high, but there isn't much total timing.
I ran 50-84 at my local track with ver. 200, max boost, 0 motor, 0 turbo with very good success. Only .3 drop off after 8 minutes.
You can bump the motor timing up and turbo with the 10.5 and drop the gear to 40-80, but it dropped off more at the end.

Thanks Wayne. That's in the ball park of what I been trying. I've tried going to mid 80's for rollout but lost too much punch.

Regards,
Carter

A few more questions. What throttle profile are you using? Are you using any drag brake?

Thanks,
Carter

anyone have a 13.5 wgt setup for a track like this, 90'X40'

using v200 software, 1s lipo, lrp x11 or x12 13.5 (stock timing) and 53.5mm tires. gearing and esc profile would be great.

what setups were the tekin guys running in 13.5 wgt at the classic and indoor champs?

hey Craig - I've been leaving the 1s box unchecked and running with a receiver pack.
