I'm not sure where the power switch is supposed to end up as: on or off. I don't want to smoke the new RS in my WGT car.
You've got it right.

With the 1S profile you can leave the switch to on with the RS if you want to use the voltage cut off feature. It works in either position.

This is how I have it setup in my oval car: + to +, - to -, on the speedo. Speedo off. I'm using the Novak booster as my on/off switch. I attached the Speedo switch to the speedo wire going to the reciever. this way it can't be turned on by mistake.

Photo below.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! I hope to have it well tested by the first Hurricane race.

I know people have noticed a big difference using this ESC with TC setups etc.
Has anyone tried it with 1s lipo?
Does the extra timing and turbo etc still work well with 1s.
I also have some LRP SPX's but the high profiles don't seem to make any difference with the lower voltage.

Thanks
Skiddins

TQ Booster and SMC on the way. Almost the last parts needed for the CRC. I still need a couple parts from Calandra.

Maybe this has been posted already, but what's a good rollout to start with for: CRC GenX, 1S TP lipo, Tekin 17.5 w/12.5mm rotor, Tekin RS ESC, on a 80X40 carpet track?

I'd start around an 87 mm with 17 turbo, 0 motor timing, and 15*esc timing. .5 delay.

If you have 200 start at 80-85mm; if not try 90mm

I think the difference is HUGE even on 1c.

I am talking about this:
http://teamcrc.com/crc/modules.php?n...prodID=7719044

you probably thought I meant for the 1s cell itself that would be cool!

For this whole 1S lipo thing in 1/12, I am assuming this one works fine for the RS just the same as the RS Pro. Does anyone got a breakdown of the current accepted method to get all of this work (ie- buy this booster, set this setting in the ESC, hook up this first, etc). Also pics of your setups would be great.

I was. I almost lost it at work. I was hoping it could be in front of the battery instead of behind it for cooling purposes.
