I remember some years back, that there was a similar type of mini rc car, but I can't remember the name. They were advertised in RC Car Action though. It had a pistol radio like the Digi Q cars and was just as small. The car charged up at the front of the radio and took less than a minute to charge as well if I remember correctly. It amazes me how popular these things have become, the other type I mentioned didn't seem to catch on nearly as well, how things change!

Oh, in my office, there're approx. six of them. Nearly all my nearby colleagues have one!! 
They are fun but don't expect too much... They are designed as a "zero-one-zero": full steering, no steering, full acceleration, no acceleration...
