I've always been an AE fan, both my off road race trucks are AE, but when I went to switch to on road I wanted something different. I'm going to add Yokomo to this list, there are very few places to get parts here. All my spares have to be ordered from HK or the few online sites here in the states. It's become a major pain in the butt to run this car... I've also noticed that Yokomo changes constantly... I have to basically keep enough parts on hand to almost build a whole car...

vtl1180ny: I'm with ya there...
I have had several Yok cars and liked them.
Like you, I had to have enough parts for another car.

JohnA: yes, I'm working on it right now...
I will send you an example of a Pro-Trak plate ASAP...

I think the only cars I would consider exotic that are distributed here in the States would be the Atlas YM-34Si, Alex Barracuda, and the Kawada Sigma. Like Claydoh said Integy distributes Altas. You can order the Sigma and Kawada parts from Evolution Hobbies. You can get the Barracuda and parts fron Steve at SpeedTech. I have bought quite a few exotic cars. Most of them I have bought from Tokyo Hobbies. I bought my Kawada Sigma, Ova T4/L2, and Tech Racing MY02 from them. I have also bought parts from them. I usually receive orders from them in 3-4 days. I have even received items on Sunday before. At one time there was a place that was going to bring in Ova cars and parts but when I ordered from them they said everything I needed was out of stock. I don't think they even carry the line anymore. Steve use to carry the RCLab cars but he doesn't have the their latest car and I'm not sure if he is still handeling their parts. Unfortunately it's all about who you know when getting these cars. I've bought cars from Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, and Canada before that weren't available here. I guess the main thing is to order extra parts when you order the car.

Default Kawada parts !!

Hi guys (and girls) !! I have'nt said much lately but I have been watching what is and what is'nt. The bottom line on parts for "exotics" lies with the people that sell the product. We can order as many parts as we need and it usually only takes 5-7 days to receive them from Asia and keep them in stock. The main thing is how many of these are going to sell and turn for us? another problem is the more that buyers want the harder it is to keep up with all the after market items. We at Evolution Hobbies have made a decision to bring the Kawada line and all its parts and hop-ups into the US, we will support the line fully and it's forums like this that get the word out to the racers on where they can get the cars and the parts, and for that we thank those that mention us now and then. In the coming months we will be pushing the 1/12th M300 and the 1/24th Trip-mate mids. I was really surprised to receive orders from foreign countries for these two products, they seem to like these and we are having success with them. For those that need items for Kawada cars plese visit www.kawadaracing.com , if it is not in stock today it may very well be with-in a few days. Thanks to all !!!

i'm out-sourcing the european exotic assassin's parts from cleveland heights, ohio since corally us can't ship overseas, corally uk's prices are like sky-high and corally distributors in singapore and malaysia have only logos/websites but no parts
