Default Anyone tried these Tamiya tires?

I'm trying to get back into 1/10 touring racing and was wondering if anyone has tried these Tamiya tires:

Was wondering how these tires perform on carpet and also outdoors. Seems like a lot of people at my local indoor carpet track is using one of these tires.

They were a control tire for one of our classes for a while. Not a good idea. Tire wear on tarseal was effectively one meeting per set of tires.

so were they soft tires or just wears fast? I found that most tires only have around the life of one race day

They gave quite good grip for the first 2 races and then consistently got worse until the car was having real trouble. But that was when every body was using them and some of the racers were using new tires for finals.
