Is it true that as of this week the 510 is now available? Man I already gotten the drift Levin though. Here's to hoping the 510 body is available separately, like now not later this year.

Questions??

Is this chassis comparible in size to the Tamiya M03 mini coopers etc? I must say, I like the look scale look of the Cup Racer..

Their wheelbases are almost identical. I don't know any hard numbers but after assembly, one of the 1st things I checked was how did it compare with the M03 sizewise. From directly above you notice how close they are in size. From the side the M03 is hella thicker.

1 more week and I'll finally be drifting my Cup Racer... until I can get rubber tires at least

A question ... I need to run my Cup racer in SWB form for an event where we have to run a Mini Cooper bodyshell

I have started building the car witth the rear arms turned appropriately but the angle of the driveshaft from the rear hub carrier to the diff is ridiculous.Instead of being inline with the diff the driveshaft is pointing sharply forward to meet the hubcarrier. Have I done something wrong or is this just what happens

Greg

They are on about a 20-25 degree angle facing the front of the chassis when in short wheel base mode

Tony,

Thanks

I was sure that I wasn't doing something wrong. I hate driveshafts that do that

Your welcome.

I pondered over the same thing myself . Nothing wrong with your build (unless i have done something wrong too) As long as they are greased etc they dont show any signs of binding

I gotta say its refreshing to see something differrent. Especially something that looks this clean. Im tired of racing easter eggs.

The wait continues.
Slowly but surely, more and more parts are being posted on the HPI web site. Most are not yet available.
