its actually pretty easy - but its the Pro4, not a Hot Bodies car i've done it on my cup racer..

just get yourself the pro4 diff/bevel gear set, the inner ring that needs to be glued to the diff ring to hold the bearing, and the correct size bearing (forget off-hand)

i'd also grab a copy of the Pro4 manual from hpi's site

its a simple mod - just as long as you got the inner run that needs to be glued into the Pro4 diff gear, that's what baffled me for a couple of hours until I broke down and emailed someone who was familiar with the Pro4

I spent time looking around for a set of wheels/tires that would compliment my Cup Racer. I ended up with these. They are Tamiya 60D Super Grips on HPI 5-spoke mini rims w/ Tamiya inserts. I think the rims look nice. The tires are about the same size as the stock tires. I like the tread, slick tires just don't appeal to me for parking lot running.

The Beemer came out very nice!!

Are the rims you mounted the Tamiya tires on actual Cup Racer rims? Also, if you could, please provide part numbers. I am very interested in getting the Tamiya wheels and tires for a more "scale" look!

These would have looked good too.

The wheels on my BMW Cup Racer:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXM930

The tires:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGJ03

The inserts:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGJ06

Those wheels/tires/inserts work for me. I did not use the chassis spacer plate and I don't race so ...

e

edit: I like ordering domestic if possible. Tower and Amainhobbies have got me covered for surface RC. Check out 3D Hobbyshop for planes.
