Here's my take on this car:

Yep, it's not innovative at all. That kinda sux but there is a good side. I guarantee you that this car will work very well. How can I know that? Because the 10L, 12L, CEFX, T-Fource, HB, XII and every other similar T-bar car all work very well.

I really like the design of the CRC and BMI cars but I prefer T-plate cars. They have always been faster for me.

So, liking T-plate cars as I do you might expect me to jump on the X-ray bandwagon and get one of these right? Nope, I think I might have to go with a CEFX car.

It is not about the t-plate design. That is a true en tested priciple and it works. For me it is about that central dampener plate. That dampener plate effects the centre shock. So there is no individual damping of side to side movement and shock action.

In mod and on an outside circuit that damperplate gets junked up by dirt and foam so the action is lost quite fast. Look at the inside of your car and see all the dirt thats in it and that is sticking on the inside of the body after 5 minutes then you know what i mean..

When i drove 2 rounds it was still fine but after that the car drove totally different. I drove a 6.5t in a rc10l2 and after 3 races of headache i chucked that damper plate out and made me a rc10l2.5 ( with damper tubes) No problems ever since.

So for inside use it should be ok but for outside on asphalt its a big no no for me.

To bad they don't have a way to mount the single cell lipo battery. If you ask the guys in Europe they are stead fast in they orginal rules for 4 cell. But as most know 4 cells is going out quickly. Here in the state of Florida our series has made this class a 1 cell lipo class. You'll see it is going to be the same way for some major races coming up in the very near future.

in europe 4 cells are still being driven in 1/12th scale, not in the pro10 cars. The rules for pro10 are 2s lipo's or 6 cells but everyone is using 2s lipo now.

Default X10 w/2S lipo

Hey, I have an XRAY X10 on the way. My local track has a brand new class called SCAR (Spec Canadian Auto Racing). Rules are simple, 200mm pan car, Novak 17.5, Orion 2400 Lipo, CRC or Jaco WGT Spec tires and any one of 40+ HPI GT bodies.

I'll be the first in this class with an X10 and was wondering if anybody out there has fitting a 2s lipo? I'm looking for suggestions & pics. Thanks

Any other setup or build tips welcome.
