Default SANWA ERG-WRX

SANWA ERG-WRX

hi all

I have just purchased one of these servos second hand.

The servo seems very stiff .. much more so than my ace or futaba digital servos. It does work when powered up but its difficult to tell if it is as quick as it should be!

Does anybody know if this is normal with these servos or do i have a problem?

i have an erg wrx have had since new and for a few years. (4 maybe 5 yrs) and works great and is stiff. very fast. i dont know why they are so stiff (could be the gearing??) but i would bet its probably normal. good servo but, maybe a lil to quick but u can slow a quick servo down hard to speed a slow one up

the erg is analog so it's stiffer than the digital ones you might be used to.

Thanks Josh .. makes me feel a bit better.. Ive had it apart and the gears are all in good nick.

Guess ill give it a go and see how it pans out.

You are right the spec is very quick but Id rather have to slow it down than speed it up.
