Default Battery chargers

Hey all, I have a Pro*Star battery charger part # 73050

It's description:
AC/DC Auto charger
7.2v Ni-Cad Fast and Trickle Charger

It has a dial for 15min charging

We also have a Stadium (Arlec) Charger
Automatic Delta Peak Nicd Battery charger
input: 240v
output 10.5v dc 3a
Power, peak detect charge and slow charge light

I've done a little googling and it suggests not to charge the tamiya nimh batteries with this, is this correct information?

I have charged the 1400 packs with the pro star and they get fairly good run time.

What would be a good charger if they are not suitable?

Thanks ya'll

Without getting too technical, nimh and nicd packs need a different charger, because if you use a nicd charger with nimh packs, the charger typically doesn't properly understand when to stop charging.
