Default ta05 pinon gears

on the ta05 do i have to buy the tamiya pinions like the tt01?
if not, what pitch can i use and whats a good pinion and spur to use for drifting and another for racing?

No. You can install universal 48p or 64p spur gears and any matching pinion.

Gear ratio depends on motor and track type.

well not including the track
what pinion and spur should i use if im using a modified 19t from full throttle?(if u need the rpm, i dont knw it)

what kind of track are you running on? ask the fast guys, they'll know.

IMO your question doesn't make a lot of sense...

Firstly your rollout or gear ratio will be determend by the track. Is it long and fast or short and nippy.

Secondly. Joe is right. Ask the fast guys! They'll know.

If I can recomend one thing. Get the Tamiya TB evo 5 90/96 spur geat set.
That allows good gearing for stock classes. OR Use the 102T 0.4 module Spur with pinions in the range of 31~34

That wont help much. So ask the fast guys

well for now imma be drifting and bash w/ rubber on parking lots and smooth concrete until i could find a track so i cant really say anything about the track
sorry if it didnt make any sense
