X12 StockSpec's are going to be available shortly in 10.5, 13.5, 17.5 and 21.5t winds. We have the first batch of motors in our warehouse now but wait until we have a decent quantity before we ship them to shops and distributors.
Obviously these new motors will be ROAR, EFRA, BRCA etc legal as well.

SXX StockSpec has many unique features which you guys will like a lot, our targeted release date for the speed-control is December but I'm not 100% confident if we can keep that as current situation with component buying (long leadtimes) is horrible...

Except good things to come from LRP for stock brushless racers...
Cant wait to try some of the new products Reto!

I am really excited for these new products...if the stock motors are anything like the mods they will be great. The stock spec speedo looks very interesting as well. Can't wait...is there any idea when they might be in the States?

Whats up Ray. I am running a receiver pack with mine. Heard tooo many stories about the boosters. Just use the receiver switch though...do not turn on the Speedo Switch unless you pull the red wire! Profile 8 is what I have been running. I believe the new SXX SS will have more usable profiles for single cell too

Good to hear that I am not the only one. I ran into an issue with a fresh out of the box SPX loosing the timing advance with about 3 minutes to go in 17.5 1/12th on both profile 7 & 8 (with a Novak booster). By the end of the day I could pretty much pick the lap that it was going to "go off" on....

I just picked up one of the hard case SMC receiver packs. Hopefully, it cures the issue.

One of these days, if time allows, it would be interesting to throw the Novak Sentry in and monitor the pack voltage and booster output voltage during a race.

do you have a link to this smc receiver pack? i haven't seen a receiver pack yet in a car, they're all running boosters.

Linky. If you do some searching you should be able to find them in stock.

It is a bit of a beast though compared to the case-less ones. The foot print is slightly larger than the Novak Booster, but it is taller (and much heavier at 30+ grams)!

You can also pick up one from Nexusracing.net They have the small 200mah Protec ones in stock for about 12.00. Its tiny and doesnt take up much room at all. Works perfect and can get about 3-4 8 minute runs before needing to recharge.

The SMC Pack is great for 10th scale cars but very hard to fit in a 12th scale without some trial and error.

Wow, you got lucky. The first SPX I cooked took over 2 months to replace with no communication from LRP.

That is the first thing that crossed my mind when I opened the package..... "Oh, drat"......

It will definitely take some creativity...

so lets hear what these problems are when using a booster, and the receiver pack fixes this? are you guys running a lipo regulator on the receiver pack? how about low voltage cut off?
