What's a good brush stock motor?
I'm going to run a brush setup to get started. What is the best 27t stock motor out? Any chance of it keeping up with Brushless motors out now?

brushed motors
Just Will,
i have raced both 12th scale brushed as well as brushless, and all i can say is that you are better off running brushless as compared to brushed. i ran brushed with others running brushless and the brushless is a lot faster, but if you want to run brushed I would run a Trinity based co27 stock motor.

Have fun. I like brushed motors, myself. And yes, I run plenty of brushless.

i was always told to find a good local tuner, based off the CO27. You should be able to find a bunch of different companies. There is brood, fantom, eurotek, EA, and several others that im forgetting.
