Custom Cut TC5 Urethane Chassis Protector.
For those wanting the best protection for their TC5 & Mi3 chassis look no further. This nearly undetectable, protective 7mil urethane film comes fully pre-cut and is designed to provide maximum protection to your Team Associated TC5's & Schumacher's Mi3 carbon-fiber chassis underside against nicks, scrapes and scratches.
It is custom cut less than 1-2mm from edges to help prevent from catching on obstructions. Not only does it protect but also adds a nice shine to the underside of the chassis.

Film takes a beating:
I gave the film a good test. I ran three long packs on our outdoor track. The TC5 is really fast. Any bumps that are contacted are at high speed. Note in the picture the scratches at the nose. These are all scratches in the film that would have been in the graphite. Note also there is no evidence of peeling. That would be a show stopper. Nice product give it a try.

How is it held on? Looks like it is adhesive backed. It will be interesting to see how long the adhesive holds on. Do you plan to do other chassis? Custom ones?

I just received mine today and have to say the template is perfect! This is the same stuff used on full scale cars for paint protection against rocks and is applied with a very strong adhesive that should hold fine. A friend of mine tints windows and does the clear shields for cars and it's a solid material for sure.
Thank you again for the great product!

i dont understand the point of it if your not covering the entire chassis, the very edges 1-2mm are the parts that get scratched the most, you need to cover those. It really doesn't catch on anything, i always cover the entire chassis with chassis film on an assphalt car. This is a great idea and design, all thats left is to cover the rest of the chassis!

Unfortunately no. I did get my rebuild done thanks to receiving all the parts! Had to fit the new ITF replacement chassis, top deck, the goodies I got from you, and pretty much replaced all my electronics so it was a long wrenching session and I knew I didn't have time for the protector to cure up. I'll be fitting it this week. Thanks to you again for the awesome service...took down TQ in my race yesterday with the rebuilt car!
