This one doesn't have a balancer... I picked one up for a backup.

This does have a balancer built in and I have it as well. It does a great job.

Whatever you choose, I recommend something that will charge several types of batteries.

Why would you need a balancer for 1/12?

I thought using Lipo and a 13.5 was the new "thing" in 1/12th scale?

Justwill75 the first one from Stormer hobbies is an awesome charger. I have one and it will do tons of stuff. Plus it is simple and straight-forward to use. You might also look at the LRP 3

Hope this helps

LOL There is a use for it: It makes your toolbox look sophisticated.

one of those chargers actually brought my below-voltage lipo (left it plugged into my car for too long while it sat) back to life for my ICE to recognize. Before that, the ICE wouldnt even reigster a battery was connected.

I know that people don't use lipo in 1/12th, The point is that he didn't read the first post.

They are using it some now. Single cell and a 13.5 for stock. Not trying to be an A$$ or argue...just discussion.

If you found two chargers that were the same price. One balanced, one didn't, you better get the one that does. One trick ponies only cost you more in the long run. Get something that multi tasks.
