Looking to get started in rc, anything great all around to start with?

Start by picking a class you want to race in that's well supported in your region.

Decide what class, then pick chassis in your budget with good local support. Then pick up electronics, use the popular setup for your track, then practice =). |
Choose a car that you can easily change the battery, using tape is just a headache for beginner. Any tub chassis car should have battery strap, if you want a carbon chassis car, then go for TC5. I am also a beginner, I know how tedious changing battery is when you need to charge it or try different pinion gears.
