Basicly its the same car
a lot of parts are interchangeable
the TC4 has more set-up options

The TC3 was very good in its day. As usual, the pros made several changes to their cars by dremeling the center brace to move the batteries closer to centerline, replaced the stock steering rack with the NTC3 bellcrank style rack and other small mods. Associated basically took all of the mods they were doing on the TC3 and created the TC4. Either car is a good beginning car. Very durable and not alot of adjustability. Too many of today's cars are so adjustable that it's easy to dial yourself OUT of a good set-up. Best of luck and have fun.
