Almost every t-bar car uses 12l4 parts. You should be able to get parts for the next ten years without a problem. There is not another car in RC that has so many other brands using its parts for their cars. My guess would be that 20 cars models use the 12l parts.

You could get the original 12L and still find parts for it. Hell the 12R5 T-plate conversion just makes a jazzed up 12L4. 12L's in all their various forms will be around as long as 12th scale continues to be run.

I know I'm just being reiterate here but for the most part, springs, shims, arms, drive axles, shocks etc.. are all universal for the most part. AE has had a dominate force on most of the market today on the front end components. The great thing about these "small" cars is the ability to be able to convert brand x's components to brand y components and be able to get those parts 5+ yrs down the line. You don't need the latest and greatest gimzo of the week for these cars. Heck I can run my old 12L3 that I have sitting on my wall in the shop and walk into my local hobby store and rebuild the entire car with parts off the wall and be able to do that for quite sometime. You'll be surprised what fits from each of the manufactures on these cars. You'll have a easier time getting parts for your 12L4 then you think. Just build it carefully, and get out there and run it!

Hitting the enter key twice might have not been the best idea of the day..
