No it isn't. If you see the gold car still runs the carbon plate for the steering, not the Evo V setup.

From a good source the new car is loaded
New type of carbon is used for the New upper and lower decks
lower deck has cooling cut outs
metal vent for motor cooling
Evo 5 steering
Updated rear bulkheads
A front diff, a front one way, and a spool
Updated spool outdrive protectors
Full Ti screws
White spring (set?)
Black sway bar (set?)
And a Protoform Mazda Body

Basically it is a duplicate of his worlds car.

From what I read there, it looks like the car comes with a Protoform Mazda6 body.

Couldn't tell if it came with a Mazda 6 body or not. Looked like it was talking about how it was used with a Mazda 6 body. Well, looks like I will be ordering one of these when I can and selling my MSX. The one thing I like about this car so much is the steering on it. Again, would be great to see an upgrade package available, but I wonder if that would actually happen.

Has anyone here upgraded their 415 with the MSX upgrade kit? If so, do you think this would be a doable upgrade kit as well?

I wonder if you get someone to drill holes in the bottom plate, and purchase a MSX2 top plate, that will allow you to install the better steering mechanism.

I could not care less about the changed bulkheads of diff pulleys, and my MSX has titanium screws already.

Andrew,

Hit up DOTMAN he is selling a new in box conversion for the 415. He will be out at Tamiya this weekend. His name is Oliver Clipper. He has top notch stuff.

I will get the whole thing, as for me my good 'ol' trusty MSX conv has all the goodies...But its old...

Wear and tear coming in....Good to change every 2 years or so...

The new car looks awesome...But many years driving Tamiyas, they have something in common. The car that they will release 'usually' won't have most of the goodies...Titanium screws for example...I think they will come out with the normal steel screws.

Just my 2 cents

Anyway, when will it be released ?!~ Can't wait...!!

Sorry for the confusion, but what I was trying to say was that since Tamiya made an 415MSX kit and an MSX upgrade kit for the 415MS, did the people who had used the upgrade kit think that Tamiya might do the same with this newer Marc Edition? Meaning, might Tamiya release a Marc Edition upgrade for the 415MSX?

You may choke. But at least you know you are purchasing the exact car Marc, I, and the other TRF drivers are using.

Thanks! Yes my ESC shut down in A2, costing me the win. It was the first ESC problem for me with a touring car so a bit of a surprise. KO (Hara) support actually fixed it for A3 so it did not "blow".
