Try some RP30's, found them very comparable to the 32's over the weekend.

What is the tape called you guys use to hold the battery to the chassis plate? I went to the hobby store and they looked at me like I am retarded. I just need to know what to tell them the name is since apparently "battery tape" and the "tape used the hold the battery to the chassis plate" don't compute.

Strapping Tape. 3M makes really good stuff. Office Max or Staples. I have the Xenon tape, it doesn't hold nearly as well - nor does it stand up to repeated use. Not to mention, once it gets stuck to itself, you'll have a handful of wasted tape - and it's almost 4x's as expensive.

I agree, but when your $60. - $80. battery pack is at stake, wouldn't you prefer the tape that's going to give you the most protection and last the longest?

Dotman: No colors - just white or clear as its sometimes called.

Nah.. sorry. You can find it in the "packing" section at the store. It's high strength packing tape.

Try a set of fat nose pliers, and either tape the alloy supports or use a rag or towel to stop the pliers wrecking the alloy. I never use locktight on my electric gear. On the nitro, yes, and plenty of it, but i dont see the need on the elect cars. i just double check the screws are all tight before every main, have only found 1 or two which were even slightly loose.
