That is not 100% correct.... This car is the same one that Marc Rheinard and Marc Fisher used at the DHI Cup in January 2004.

This particular car has different shock towers and a different chassis where the cells are a litle further back and closer to the center!!
I would not call it a prototype, but it's definitely a pre-production car

Default Help Please

Hi Guys hope you can help. I have great turn in on the msx but the car seems to wash out mid corner making it very hard to hold a tight line on the smaller corners. Car is almost kit set up bar roll bars and 3 degrees rear toe
TIA
Mark

Go to 2.5deg. rear toe-inn, that is what I normally use and it should do the trick

OK, I just ordered a 415MSX. Is there a website that has building tips? I race more nitro touring and just wanted to try electric again with my new TC4 RTR but realized it was limited and it would need major hopups and setup to get it competitive. But don't get me wrong I think half the fun of RC cars is building and trying different setups. I mean there is a post back a bit about using Hpi Pro-4 suspension parts, I thought wow now that's really trying different setups and thinking out of the box! Thanks for any input.

yes,you can go with 2.5 deg rear toe in, to reduce wash out mid corner (reduce rear grip). i'm using 2.5 deg too to reduce push effect when turn in.

Would be great to see for sure. Interesting that the AE belt drive did pretty well too.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd really appreciate what kind of setup you were running. Also, congrats on the great result.

Awesome run for all of the Tamiya drivers this past weekend at the Reedy Race. My drive was pretty hurting lol.

Numan your so dialed! Great run Now post the setup. Here's the good stuff, get it at an auto shop

Also, Marc's winning setup was written down by Kiyo-san and should be posted on Tamiya's website in the near future. The setup was also photocopied and handed out.
