Got back from Wrexham BRCA (sorry no pics as i forgot the camera ), luckily it didn't rain so i got in the B final (27T) and qualified 8th and finished 8th, could have done better but the cells i have got at the moment are 1.5 years old and they're GP3300 (new ones soon... ).

Same as Charles, just come back from the first national at Wrexham. Ran in 19t and ended up 39th in the end (although bizzarely that puts me 40th in the championship... bloody scoring Q system )

Anyway, ran the MSX with the Pro mod suspension for most of the weekend. Kept with Tamiya blues up front, and fluro red's on the rear, with no roll bars. Car was pretty good, although the rear did have a tendancy to snap out, off power.
Changed springs for the last final (fluro yellow rear, HPI silver on the front), which probablly would have been great if I'd remembered to reset the front ride height... poor chassis running at 2.5mm off the ground still rear end did seem improved, although how much I can actually count on that due to the large difference in ride heights I'm not sure.

Would have liked to have tested the car with softer springs and roll bars, in various combinations. I'll leave that until next time out at barham, but I'm pretty sure the slighty stiffer rear spring fof the ProMod could be the way forward.

Later
Ed

If by chance someone is looking or knows someone looking for a bunch-o-tamiya stuff in one package....please email me.

I thought I'd post here before listing anything in the For Sale or ebay.

I have a MSX and a 415 with a ton of stuff. The MSX is a true kit but I mounted the 3mm and standard susp. on it. The 415 has the MSX LW suspension and the 2.5mm MSX chassis on it :P

Anyway sorry to clog up space on this thread...just thought I'd ask the Tamiya guys first.

Guys, I'm selling my new in box spare 415 MSX. I used the shocks so I replaced them with the retail version which is exactly the same specification as the kit.

Looking for 220.
