There are few subtle differences, but you really can tell that Tech had a lot of input into the 415....

Just interested though, how wide are the belts???

Ko

the biggest difference i see is that the TRF415 has all aluminum for the rear bulkheads.. and the Tech Racing is plastic? still a nice car. too bad the 415 doesnt come in pink!

On the Tech car, the alloy section is stepped out, while the TRF415 is all inline, so the centre layshaft is longer....

I tried really hard to ignore this post, but I just had to say something.

First of all, are you homophobic? Lots of homophobes are closet gay you know. You might want to explore your inner self.

But just because the guy like pink stuff on his car, there is no reason to start labeling people. Barracuda R3 came in blue, red and pink, does that make all who bought the pink car gay?

Speaking of color, what is a masculine color anyway? purple? red? When is the last time you wore a red suit?

Plenty of people here know Hebiki personally and he does not need to defend himself. But seeing ignorant bigots with a loud mouth just plain pisses me off.

Notice the smilies please, IT WAS A YOKE!
Don't be so uptight! btw Judging by your reaction i would say that you are the homofoob here. What are you trying to prove to yourself?
If Hebiki took offence to my yokingly remark then i appologise to him. I doubt he took offence tough, judging by the tone of the many posts he made in this forum.

Keep cool man, I'm sure it was just a joke, not any allusion to his real sexual preferences.

I must admit, I have seen some pink anodized cars in person and they look pretty sweet. They're like inbetween purple and red and a lot lighter, almost glowing effect. I don't blame Heibiki for wanting a pinky.

Me want orange!!! Now, if that's gay I don't know what's not...

But seriously, I think the rarer the color is, the more bling bling the car is to the hobbyist. The R3 is pretty sweet with all that glitter ala starwars effect on it... add the rarity of the pink anodizing and whalla, you got one of the rarest rides in R/C history(I know of only 2 that Speedtech sold, and my coworker got the other one...) I don't love Hebiki, but I do dig his R3 (no pun intended, hahaha )!!!

BTW, Izzy is right, the 415 will be in some US stores next week... finally dreams do come true...

hey check THIS out

A new version of the MY02, even closer to the 415. I think it does look better than the 415 though...

Cool, but did you see the price? 28000Yen? Half the price of an 415
