Who cares!?! I'd rather wait a few weeks and save myself $120USD and get it from Champ R/C!

well i would call the TA05MS the successor to the 415, but i'm sure that over time the TA05 is going to leave a mark.

my msx tweeks (as i'm sure they all do)....to fix this, i countersunk the front and rear carbon damper stays where the screws go into the left and right roll center parts. (like the pro4's) it helps a little. any suggestions on how to totally eliminate tweek from the rear?

it's coming soon....just wait. and it will come with the suspension from the 415. i haven't seen anybody try out the xenon racing chassis yet, but i'm sure it's effective. i can't say if it's a better car though.

I still doubt it. Even with all the carbon fibre in the 05MS, it will be still heavier because if the plastic used in things like diff bulkheads. There is no way Tamiya would release a car that is cheaper than its top model and can out perform it. You'll be pissing off a lot of dedicated Tamiya racers if they did that.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but isn't the TA05 just a "plasticized" 415, albeit with a slightly different layout? How then could it be realistically thought of as the "successor" to the 415?

Are there spare parts for the MS Upgrade kit or the refine yet anyone know of? Got into a glitch/crash problem and need a couple of parts.

i repeat:

didnt people say that about the 414 when the trf ta04 was released, i forget...wich car won a championship???

the ta05 will merely be what the role of the 04 was, a very good mid line racer, it will never replace the top model, only recieve upgrades that are first brought to the 415... kinda like when everyone thought the camaro was gonna replace the corvette, tell me again...wich car can you buy from a chevy dealership tomorrow?

Maybe Tamiya might release aluminum bulkhead for the TA05, that will make it as good as the TRF 415 Series.

With a carbon graphite chassis and aluminum bulk heads. The 05 is a better balanced car over the 415. And the drive train is much more free. The way tamiya likes to sell cars, it's only a matter of time before the factory guy's start running some kind of prototype upgrade of the 05.

you forget... the 414 came out first.. then Tamiya made a cheaper version of it with the TA04 series.

the TA05 is not derived from the 415 like the TA04 was from the 414 you never know what Tamiya will do with the TA05 series. plus Xenon already has a conversion kit out. and IFMAR Worlds is next year. ANYTHING is possible.

I agree w/ Chris. In my case, I'd rather get the TRF kit w/c was developed & raced by the TRF drivers & Tamiya R&D staff themselves. Besides when you get the Factory kits, you only need a little more option parts to bring out the best further more of the kit & also the bling factor as well. The only non-TRF kits I bought ever since I started the hobby was the TL01 & F201 Ferrari Kit. I don't have the F201 kit anymore but I still keep my TL01 (almost fully Tamiya hopped-up) since the TL01 was my very first real 1/10 scale rc car & haven't switched or tried other RC kit brands.

Oh I did forget one more thing. I actually did get non-TRF racing kits, TB Evo & TB Evo 2 & still have these kits in my possession.
