Hey, does anybody know how much tension is in the Spring Set for DJ Pro Module Suspension? Just a curiousity thing really and would be handy to know the figures. (Spring Set 53163 - Onroad tuned spring set)

Maybe someone will have a compression rate tool. The approximations are...

The spring rate range for #53163 are:

Blue 10-11 lb
Yellow 8-9 lb
Red 6-7 lb

Tamiya makes two composite battery hold downs. One is for the TA05 and the other is for the 415. It comes with the lower chassis kit for stick packs batteries. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. But the lower deck is $90.00
or I would have bought it myself! I would think the composite TA05 would fit, you would need to drill holes in the chassis of coarse!

Actually TRF415boy has calculated the rates, and there now on my chart. the fluro reds come in sofest, at around 9.1lb, the fluro yellows come in at 10.9, and fluro blues at 13.

btw... the link to the chart is currently wrong, if you want the new one, use this for now, I can't actually change it till I get home.

Thanks TryHard. Surprising to see them that close to the other spring set actually. Like... only 2 pounds between yellow and fluro red basically.

There may be steel or some sort of metallic outdrives coming out for the TA05's spool. This should fit the 415's spool. I believe spares are also in the works.

That's exactly what I'm saying! I would also like aftermarket ones for practice and then use Tamiya outdrives for TCS!
