Hey guys I just finished building my 415 and it is awesome. Couple of questions, Im going to be running carpet with foam tires and I need a starting setup for the car. It is the regular 415 I cant seem to find any setups anywhere on the web. Also I need to get a front diff, and get rid of the center oneway, where is the best place online to get these parts and spares

Online store would be : SpeedTech RC

Set-ups for carpet would be : TryHard's Setup pages

When looking for carpet set-up pages, find the one's that use the standard arms.

Default Heat Sink Beam

Click below for the picture of the heatsink beam install with the MSX conversion. You can see it in there looking thru just above the shock tower.

Anyone else know where I can get the parts to make it fulltime 4wd. Speedtech is out of stock, and I need the stuff by Friday.

Good Luck on getting the stuf by Friday. I would try Tower Hobbies if you need it that soon.

One more thing, if you're trying to put a front diff for the car, you have to get diff parts from Yokomo & use a 415 diff pulley (not the 1 way pulley) to complete the diff. The altnernative is the spool from SpeedTech (just don't crash into the boards/pipes @ your track w/ extreme force) or the Tamiya 415 spool (currently out of stock).

first run with the msx today on carpet with foams. car ran perfectly with no faults all day. changing from diff to spool was so easy. excellent to work on and to drive. also ran with 3.2mm chassis from fibre-lite and was awesome.

Finished build my MSX - Decided to not use the DJ PRO first time round. Very impressed as usual with build quality. Some suprising changes in front steering setup but seems to work better than before. I also had to mount my Personal transponder differently.

The MSX-conversion made a quite big difference on the car, i ran the exact same setup as with the old car and i noticed that the car carried alot more speed through quick transistions. I'll see if i can get a setup sheet up in a few days..
