Default Belt & one way

I found that I have to run the front belt fairly tight or it twists inside out where it goes around the center one-way. I have to run the front belt tension 3 index locations tighter. Has anyone else seen this?

Also, does anyone know if tamiya is planning on a front diff's and a fixed center pully to replace the center one-way pully?

Martin,

Those seem to be the same questions a few 415 racers hoping to run the 04 Reedy at Tamiya are asking...are you going to make the trek down for the race this year?

Default 415 Diff

Looks like I have solved the belt twisting issue.

I have some questions into Tamiya about this center one-way and diff, and what their plans are for the Reedy race, as I was hoping to attend this year.

Guys,

Instead of ranting on about diffs in this forum, direct your efforts in an e-mail to Tamiya to get the problem solved. No one on this forum can give you a straight and honest answer as to the existens of a front diff. Ask Tamiya if they will make one. They in turn will ask Tech-racing since these are the guys that build and developped the "415".
Also, why did all of you wait to get an "415" when the car was already available as a Tech-Racing car? Is it just for the logo?

I agree...majority of the the time..what's said here stays here. the Tech "R" car has been out well before the 415... maybe they wanted the Tamiya Blue and the 2 * * stars...

Tamiya has a cult following. So yes, the tamiya name is a big deal.

I know that! And why, do you think that is? Because all you guys just post it at these forums and never ask the manufacturer!
How the h*ll are they to know that you want a normal diff if no one asks or tells them?

the question has been asked several times to tech racing and there reply to me was there was NO need in it as they run one ways only . which its fine for outside racing and the tracks are larger but for us that run inside and have to comply to some rules at special races its tough.

I guess you think companies will jump when asked lol wake up and smell the coffee bro.
