aie, was gonna post that bit

Still.... as I've already choped down the body post mounts and re-reamed my shell.. i'll run it as is

Personally don't think the tweak will be an issue, no more than with the std tower, given how much movement there is in the screw holes in the tower as it is.

You're supposed to be able to put the tower always back in the same position when you tighten it (I pull mine up when i do that with good results). With the spacers, I found it never gave the same position.

this is not a for sale thread. These posts should ONLY be in the for sale thread.

well a delrin spool sure would be light, but not sure how durable it would be. I suppose it depends on the cost of a delrin spool. If it is cheap, well then I am sure it would be popular, as replacement wouldn't be that bad but, if it is dear, then I am sure many people would buy the RCmainax version or speedtech version as they should last better.

overall, I think I would still prefer the RCmaniax spool.

It was an educational experience. I learned that I don't know how to drive nitro monster truck and I got schooled Seriously, it was a lot of fun and even though I ended up driving way too punched in the B-main, I'd do it all over again and hope to do better with the acquired knowledge of "slow is fast". Overall, the TRF team did very well with JimmyJ winning and DJ comming in 2nd. What was amazing was that we had sooo much motor compared to the TZ, TM and stock powered trucks. It's all about the stock engine baby

Just finished mounting one of my bodies for the Reedy Race and I'm looking forward to that event. I've got two other bodies to do but they're in the hands of Frank da painter. In the meantime there's a bunch of other things I need to prepare (and hopefully not last minute/day before)
