Tamiya has to work together with other companysas they themselves only make Plastic molded parts and body's. Al the rest such as alu, graphite parts and tires are made by other companys. This does make sence however, because if Tamiya buy their tires from say Ride or Pit Shimizu you know they will have a good product.
This way of doing bussiness is not done by Tamiya alone, companys like Losi and Team Asso do the same. The logic being that if you can't do it yourself have it done by someone who does know how to do it.

My mouth is watering. 
As an avid collector of Tamiya and TRF cars, I can't wait for my two 415's to arrive. (One to race and one for the collection.)
My 414M will have to retire soon!!

But really, that 415 is looking good huh... hehehe, need to add that to my stable...
Speaking of Tech Racing... is this car going to be branded a Tamiya slash Tech Racing Chassis? Seems that Tamiya is buying out some good "small" R/C companies... hehehe! First Neo then Tech Racing... maybe next time Tamiya will merge with Kyosho or something....
