Default Best Asphalt Tire/Insert Combo

I'm mainly a carpet racer, but plan on racing some asphalt this summer.

What have you found to be the best tire/insert combo for the 415 for asphalt? The track is a new asphalt track and will most likely have pretty good traction.

The car wont decide what tire/insert is best, that all depends on the track. Ask the fast locals what they are running..

Get a nice countersink bit and a drill press and it will make quick work of that. I have countersunk slots like that in the past though and just use a dremel with a small grinding wheel, took about 10 secs per slot..

Yup, I probably need a drill press. I don't have much dremel skills like you. The xxxs chassis you did was out of my league.
