PMR, did you have any troubles fitting the 1XD block on front? Even with the 1XC I had to shave down material from the rear of the arm so it wouldnt rub on the bulkhead. I dont even think I could get a 1XD on there without having to shave down the spacers as well.

Then with the double 1XB on rear I had to shave off the end of the dogbone so it wouldnt hit the diff screw..

Correction to my previous post:

"to increase the toe in from 1A/1C to 1A/1XB"

It should be :

"to increase the toe in from 1A/1C to 1XB/1C"

Sorry for the mistake I guess I was kinda sleepy especially with those complicated and confusing block names and combinations.

Thats what I guessed, the only downside to this narrow setup.

There will always be a new car coming from every manufacturer, but right now the MS is Tamiya's race oriented kit, and they dont really have much reason to change much on it since it has all the new suspension and bulkheads. I would guess nothing new will be out within the next 9 months or so.

Come on, this is Tamiya we are talking about. The 415 is already long overdue to be updated .

Typically, Tamiya (higher end products...well at least their 1/10 touring on road stuff) have a short life cycle and are updated frequently. Plus there has already been talk of a 416 or something like that.

I'll guess I'lll save my money for a nitro season, if tamiya is smart, they will use the suspension arm from the MS and Evo 4

don't they generally release a new chassis or..or new tire right before the TCS Nats...to freak out all the racers looking for set-ups?

my guess it to look for an EVO4 limited with special sauce or an EVO5

Perhaps...

Tamiya track was fun today. It rained this week and the track was damp when we arrived. No maintenance was done because of the wet track, a slow trick chicane was put in the back right short chute, and we ran it reverse (clockwise). Kind of a fun day, just killing tires and burning brushes. DJ busted out a small video camera and first mounted it in a plane and flew around for a "bird's eye" view and later put in his car. In-car camera video is really cool and would be sweet to have at future race events. Imagine WRC sped up three times

Neil, sorry about your luck...It was nice speaking with you. Next time, don't hit stuff foo!

DJs death defying close encounter with the post on a choking engine almost made the kids under the tent pee... Tamiya should really consider spawning the TRF team over the r/c plane aerobatic competitions.
