Usually every other month for work. Might be there again in 3 weeks if you need something--although I might not have time to go shopping this time.

Hi Guys,

Just a quick heads up, we received our Tamiya shipment today, and the website have been updated with the items received.

Hey randy,
How you getting on with the Narrow Xseries blocks? Have you managed to try them yet?

I managed to pick up a world champ set pretty cheap (main reason being for the Alu rear hubs), so I'm thinking of changing the front blocks from D/A too B/XA, just making the car narrower at the front (and the same width as at the rear). Any thoughts on this guys?

Regards
Ed

simply.... yes and no

To expand a little... The MS is a very good car, it comes with all the std hop-ups over the normal 415. You really shouldn't need anything else for it (bar spares to use the std suspension, which is better for indoors..which leads to next point)

To be honest it depends on what surface your running on. If it's outdoor on asphalt, get the MS, whereas indoor, get a std chassis, and buy a few hop-ups (belt-stabilizer, white belts).

The main reason is that the MS has the 2.5mm chassis, whilst the std car has 3mm. Also the MS has the Evo4 (LWT suspension set), whilst the std car uses the 414/evo3 style suspension, which seems to be prefered for inddor running (the 3mm chassis makes the car stiffer too).

Hope it helps a bit
Ed

Wow, excellent and fast reply. Thank You. I run outdoor asphalt.
I ordered the MS from Tower Hobbies 10 min. ago.. I probably could have found a cheaper source but on the upside I'll have the car in my hands tomorrow. Thanks again for the response.

Default Question re 415 w/ Stk Arms!

Quick question re 415 w/ std arms. Does anyone run sups blks D/A & C/D for the stk arms & rear hub? Reason for my question is, I currently run my ride outdoors (asphalt) w/ spool/fixed pulley & w/ susp blks C/A & D/D. Thanks for the quick reply.

downside: order it from Speedtech for $40 less and they throw in a Ti screw kit.

But as you said, you will have it Saturday.

Enjoy the car, its a great kit! (look to pick up the "Worlds kit" in the future)
