Tamiya TRF415

I just got a TRF415 MS, and I was wondering if anyone could share a good carpet/foam tire set-up? I have always ran a XXX-S, and I thought that I would give the 415 a try. I run on a tight indoor carpet track. What exactly does the one-way on the center shaft do that the front one-way doesn't already do?
Thanks

You could use the X-Ray 6 cell battery strap and posts

I think that was the stick pack chassis kit on that car. Not sure though, but I thought they had a battery holddown strap for that special chassis. I just ordered the XRay 6cell strap. So I'm gonna try that this week.

At the worlds, we were required to run stick packs; so we all obtained the 415 stick pack chassis, which comes with the carbon fiber battery hold down plate. It won't work easily with the regular chassis since there are no mounting holes.

ooh i see ,... is it possible to get the 415 stick pack chassis as a hop up ??
one of the guys i know has installed the xray strap down on to the 415 ...however i'm afraid it'll tweak the chassis over time with the screw down strap .. and lack of proper drilled/prepped holes ...
thanx alot ..

hapiya...If you are unsure of drilling the chassis take it to a machine shop and get them to do it. The X-Ray strap screws down one end but pivots on a ball/cup type deal. I dont think you would have any tweaking problems. Grab someone spare or broken X-Ray chassis and use it as a hole template
