What chassis are you talking about? I have used a 112 spur before in the 415. That's the largest you can go. The spur is level with the bottom of the chassis. I dunno about the MS because the chassis is thinner. So a 112 may protrude from the bottom. Right now I use a 101 xenon spur from SpeedtechRC.. It gives me the ratios I need for 19t. But it also gives me what I need for Stock as well as 10x1 motors. I'd probably switch to a 104 if I went with a 7x1.

The 104 tooth is barely above the bottom of the MS chassis, I wouldnt go any bigger just in case you should run into a rock. The smallest pinion I've used is a 24 tooth which had no problem reaching.

Just got from the mail the MS world champion parts set. But I need your help here. For the rear suspension I know it would increase or decrease the toe angle and its effect in steering. However for the front, it would also increase/decrease the angle but what puzzles me is the effect it will make. Say if I use the std front 1A block with 1XD (-2.5 deg) what effect will it give me? If I use the 1A block with a 1XA (-1.0 deg) what will it give me. Thanks in advance.

Randy: Thanks for answering my question regarding the rear belt adjustment . I appreciate it.

For the toe out angle in front, you will get a quicker first respond. But the middle and exit corner, the car tends to push out ... I think.

there wasnt a calculated plan other than to try the best shaft and best belt car on the market and find something of happy balance in between.
