Marc Reinhard made a training like other Orion/Peak drivers with a TRF415 prototype. No picture allowed, but I can examinate the car. Very impressive, better than I tought after I saw the official pictures. The chassis is extrem stiff, all parts look very good. But the accessibility seems to be not very easy.

But this prototype was very very nice. I hope the production's version will be the same as the prototype!

Back at the worlds in Japan 2000 Tamiya had two versions of the TRF 414. One that D. Jun raced with the batteries down the side and one with long camber links and other tweaks that Miura used. The latter became the productioncar, TRF 414M. M is for Miura. Later on there have been a memorialversion of the M2 and a WCR.

M is for Miura. Not memorial. Here are all the version of 414M cars:

TRF 414M (silver) (was out before they even win any race with the car)

TRF 414M Memorial edition (very first batch of blue 414M, it comes with tools that has TRF414M engraved on it, and it comes in a black carboard box with orange memorial sticker on the box which lists 3 consecutive wins in Japan and HK. It also comes with light-weight suspension shaft ends, and lightweight swing shaft)

TRF 414M2 (blue version of M, mass-production)

TRF 414M WCR (World champ replica. only 1700 units avaliable in the world. The bulkhead are lightened and it's all Ti-ed out.)

Latest news from the DHI-Cup in Denmark.
Marc Reinhard finished in second position in the A-Main with a TRF415 prototype. So a very good result for the first race in Europe with a 415.
First place goes to Hara with Pro 4. Third place isn´t for sure but it seems also going for another 415 from Steen Graversen.

Just spoke to Jonas Andersson. First place, Hara. Second place, Rheinard. Third place, Steen Graversen. Two TRF415 on the podium is a great result, four Swedes in the A is even better

No pictures were allowed of the 415 so grab it before it disappears.

Default 415 @ rc-champ

at last rc-champ responded to my mail. took them about 10 days to do so here's the reply tho not really answering my mail ...

Quote:
I'm sorry tamiya haven't start selling the 415 yet. Our price will be 32900YEN. For over sea mail order, you can't use credit card. I'm sorry. There are two way you cansend us a money. One is paypal ( Internet bank www.paypal.com ) Bank charge is 540YEN+4%. Good thing about paypal is when you send us money, we can send item on the day you send us money. Bad thing about paypal is there will be a tax. Other way to pay money is bank transfer. Bank charge is 5500YEN. Good thing about bank transfer is there will be no tax. Bad thing about bank transfer is it will take one week to us to receive money from you, so you have to wait one week to us to send items to you. Please choose the way you like to pay with.

Thank you
Best regards,
RC Adviser Champ

Tamiya must be about to release the kit... it now has a part # on the USA website, rather than just "prototype" status. hopefully it wont be much longer!!!
