Should have Tamiya Distributor in you country, no? Once they shipped out from Japan around the world, should get to every country in average of 2 weeks by sea or 3 days by air?

It's kinda weird when a new chassis is developed by Tamiya that the US usually ends up getting it last. Even the European guys are playing with their 415's now.

Believe me the UK market will be the last in the world to get the 415 and even then it will be 500 GBP which is $900 USD
Then people wonder why us from the UK go to Japan and Hong Kong for parts Rick

I just send email to them when the TRF is coming out etc. Hopefully they will respond. If they do, I will post the info here.

Rick, in Belgium it's even worse this year. The Belgian importer Sablon made a new rule. We must buy the TRF 415 in a Belgian shop, than that shop will fill in a form and without it we can't compete in the Tamiya Cup .

Anyhow Marc allready got one.

Rainbowten also has a posting concerning new rules in regards to Tamiya products for 2004.
I already have an idea what it is, just a guess. Restrictions for non-Japan buyers. I guess they are learning that they are cutting off profits from dealers overseas.
The only reason I buy from there is to get something right away because like you guys said. Shipping to USA is slow. But lately I have notice that there have been products that came in faster than I have expected.

You must be kidding... It's not becuse Marc has a 415 that all drivers have one down here. Europe is always the last to get all kind of bits from producers outside EU...

Yeah I'm kidding but there is a little truth to that. I haven't seen one here yet at the test track even though a sample or two were supposed to arrive a couple weeks ago. I remember last year when the Evo3's first came out and we were the last to receive ours. One of the drivers had to build his the night before he left for the Novak race, while the Europeans have had theirs for months.

Also I don't believe DJ has his either. They're all too busy working/playing with their TLT-1's Did you know that you an undergeared TLT with a 12-13T can go 20+mph...I'd imagine that it's handling would be very sketchy.

Hi Bob, yep i can see that happening in the UK and if it does i will not bother racing in the eurocup anymore. Who in there right mind would pay 500 for a car when it can be had for 250-300 delivered, not me Its time the distributers learn that untill they lower there prices to the same cost as Japan and the USA racers will go elsewhere and will not be held to ransom.
